A CALL TO PROTEST BY HRC received strong support from organizations such as HRC-FedUp!, HRC-Chester, Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project, Fight For Lifers West, Back To Society Inc, human rights activist, former prisoners, family members and individuals who want to make a change to an "unjust" justice system.
On August 12, 2009 the Human Rights Coalition (H.R.C.) and supporters gathered in front of C.F.C.F. Philadelphia county prison on State Road in a rally to protest the (so called) "suicides", brutal beatings by prison guards, and deprivation of food and medical attention which occurs throughout PA prisons. Our American prisoners have been subjected to the same types of torture/abuses as the prisoners in guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib, for years, without protest from the American public. Let us break the silience, join the Human Rights Coalition.
