Human Rights Coalition Rally: "Solitary Confinement is Torture!"

HRC has just been informed that the Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on solitary confinement this coming Monday. The hearings are being convened in the Yeadon Borough hall in Rep. Ron Waters' district and will aid in determining whether the Judiciary Committee will launch an investigation into solitary confinement in PA.
This is an opportunity for all of us who know that solitary confinement is torture to make our voices heard! It's vital that we show up & let the members of the Judiciary Committee and the press know that they must take immediate action to bring an end to this barbaric and inhumane practice.
The hearings begin at 1 and will feature the testimony of HRC members LuQman Abdullah (a survivor of solitary confinement) and Bret Grote, HRC investigator . Show up at 12 to rally outside with HRC! Bring signs, a loud voice, and your family and friends! The hearings will be formal and only a select few may testify, so show up early & testify with us!
